Editorial policy
How we choose sources and handle prices, photos, translations and advertising.

Principles
- Sources first: we prioritize official channels (City of Florianópolis, State Government of Santa Catarina, IPHAN, UFSC, IMA/SC, the fire department, concessionaires). Encyclopedias and major portals are supporting sources.
- Nothing made up: we do not publish a price, opening time, date or business without a source. When in doubt, we point you to the official channel.
- No fake experiences: we write as an editorial team, without invented first-person accounts.
Prices and dates
Prices appear only when read on an official channel, with the date they were checked. Event dates, such as New Year’s Eve (Réveillon) and Fenaostra, only with an official source.
Sea and nature
We cover the sea, trails and protected areas with practical information and the official rules, and never encourage access to closed areas.
Photos
We use only freely licensed photos with credit, listed in the photo album. When a photo illustrates a topic but was not taken in Florianópolis, the caption says so.
Translations
Versions in other languages are based on the Portuguese text and are reviewed. Pages without a reviewed translation are not published.
Advertising
Ads and sponsorships are always labeled and do not influence editorial content.
