Follow the 4-day itinerary and set aside a day for the North Bay and Azorean culture. That way, day 2 of the 3-day itinerary can be just for the beach.
Days 1 to 4
The Lagoa and the East, the North, downtown and the South with Campeche Island.
Day 5: the North Bay, forts and an Azorean village
- Morning: a schooner trip around the North Bay with a stop at Anhatomirim, depending on the operator’s route and whether visits are allowed. See forts.
- Afternoon: Santo Antônio de Lisboa and its Azorean houses.
- Late afternoon: sunset and oysters facing the bay.
